I hear rhat the Swepi well on the Palmer road will be drilled from mid to late summer. That info comes from next door neighbor.
Correction to previous post. A drilling rig was delivered to the Palmer pad on Saturday. Because they took it in over the weekend, I didn't see it until this morning. Also, according to one of the locals near the Pilgrim well, Halcon has taken that rig to a maintenance facility somewhere.
I know the Halcon Gallagher pad is complete and probably ready for a drilling rig. It is between Greenville and Jamestown on Halfway Road. Halcon signage is up for truck traffic. I don't think the Stevenson pad is in yet. Can anyone enlighten us on this site. For those of us leased with Halcon, the CX Energy GIS tool is pretty informative. It now shows well site info, although I don't know how often it is updated. It appears the Greenville-Hempfield area is being circled with wells as if they are zeroing in on something. This may sound off the wall, but I wonder if the 1998 Greenville earthquake has something to do with this. Any possibility that there is a quake related natural fracture below us they are looking for?
Where exactly is Pilgrim well. It is north of Fredonia but how far, on what road, and how far from Route 19 as a reference point?
I believe Rainbow is to be drilled soon. I am guessing September or October. There is currently work going on to connect Allam (recently drilled with reasonably good results) to Rainbow to be supposedly drilled some time in the not too distant future. Of course things change rapidly in the O&G business, and O&G companies, like women, often seem to change their minds. Glista and Desko have not been drilled but there is a permit for a second Desko well. I do not know where Desko II is in relation to Desko I. I know this info can be obtained by probably using google, but I am almost totally computer illiterate and do not know how do it.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
