I copied the link to the Orwell (Eaton) test well report above.
Check that out too.
I'm reading the well report shows gas at both the Queenston and the Utica Intervals - no mention of oil - but it's only a vertical test bore and as such not fractured (I guess) - maybe they need a horizontal to gather any oil show (perhaps the lateral would have to even be fractured) - don't really know enough about how to read / interpret such a report on a (Utica) test bore.
Wondering about the pressure in the bore also ?
Can anybody help read / interpret that thing ?

It's furnished by the well developer to our Ohio Department Of Natural Resources - they work for the public the last I checked.
The public includes all of Ohio's Citizenry - and I'm an Ohio Citizen - I'll bet you are too !
It's over a year old.
It was posted earlier by another on this very public site.
Take this link to the 1st poster's page (a member that goes by the name of Bob posted it 1st) - it's the same link repeated from the above: http://gomarcellusshale.com/forum/topics/lease-negatiations-for-ash...
Apparently the fellow who posted it initially (probably another Ohio Citizen) saw no problems with it either.
There's much production info. still withheld from the ODNR / the public and apparently kept confidential / proprietary by the Developer (according to the letters attached within).

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
