What is the latest about Gulfport in Guernsey county? See they have some on the county engineers list at the ODNR. Are there any pipelines or other infrastructure going in? Look like it is going hot and heavy just east of Londonderry Twp. accros the line in Harrison county. When will this move into Guernsey, any thoughts. Thanks!!!

They"ve installed the pipeline from Cadiz to the Grohl well in Antrim. Also went south with it across Brush Run Rd. Suppose to build a compressor station just east of 513. Clearing a ROW now west to Winterset for their 2nd Grohl well pad location. GOP just got 3 permits for the Miller pad near Londonderry. Locals involved in the Grohl unit are anxious to get it hooked up & producing. So are the locals who want to see what this well produces. !st results showed about 80% liguids. They"ve been flaring off the unwanted dry gas. Everyone round here wants some drilling done closer to I-77 . see what's down there!
Is there any news of Gulfport getting ready to drill in more in Guernsey County. Looks like they have a lot of land in Londonderry and other townships under lease. Some of these I think have been leased for between 2 and 3 years if memory serves me correctly. Some date back to when Wishgard was operating there.
Gulfport must have let the Ripley & Miller permits expire, but they not only re issued them ,but added a total of 5 wells for the Ripley pad and 4 for the Miller. so when they do get that rig there, they may be in Londonderry for many moons!
When the gathering pipelines are in, you'll see a rig start drilling. Are those pads in yet?

The pads were built over a year ago. Markwest pipes are past those sites and made it to the Grohl well in Antrim& beyond towards the next Grohl wells. They are probably waiting on a rig the free up. Now that they are drilling multiple wells on each pad, Those rigs aint moving as often.
Does anyone have an update about what is going on in the Londonderry part of the county or close to it. THANKS!

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
