I've watched that pad being built for the past couple of weeks, since I drive right by it on the highway to and from work daily. I really feel bad for those people who live in that house, it's right in their front yard.

I have noticed Eclipse screwing people over like that lately. The Fox-miller Gaute well in Millwood township is getting put right in the middle of the only nice field on that property.

Really??Those people in that house are not feeling bad. Believe me.  They can put one by my house anytime.

You would really want to put up with the 24/7 light and noise of the rig for months while they drill, and then the bright as sun flame from flaring off the well off and on for god only knows how long.  And the trucks day and night hauling oil and brine out of the pad.

I'm sure they are happy about the money and being in the pool and all, but I wouldn't like the pad right on top of my house!

Not all of our neighbors own their mineral rights. http://wvsoro.org/

Philip Thackray is getting good royalties but is not happy with the well pad on his property.

You don't get something for nothing. If you want the bonus money, then you have to put up with the well, traffic,noise,etc.....Trust me, we know, the Lawson well is right across the road from our house.

Not all of our neighbors are going to get bonus or royalty money.

Per their RUMA agreement with the county engineer, PDC has committed to using Frankfort Rd. as their means of ingress and egress.  However, the bridge on I70 that crosses Frankfort Rd. is set too low for the semis carrying the rigging to travel under.  PDC plans to set a crane at the northwest corner where Frankfort and Easton converge. The crane will offload the rigging and load it onto some type of rail system that will carry it beneath the bridge.  Once on the other side, it will be loaded back upon the semi and taken to the pad, which at that point is probably less than 200 yards away.

Carrizo likes what they see at the Rector well that they just got 4 more permits for that pad! According to a Carrizo Rep. that well may be the #1 oil producing well in the state. Shut in now, though, waiting on pipeline so they don't have to keep shooting all the gas up into the atmosphere.

Hi Bo, where exactly is the Rector well?
