I agree, Jacob. They intend just to make big money for themselves.
A representative from Siltstone came to my house. It was obvious that they were looking for people who wanted money fast and would sell or lease their mineral rights cheaply. Their offer was ridiculous and I didn't even consider it. I think they are only in business to buy minerals or lease only to flip to drillers.
Their offer was $1000./ acre. I just said NO.
I sold my mineral rights to siltstone and they paid what they promised. The guy that came to my house was very nice and I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in selling their mineral rights.
I'm sure they would pay right away, but they pay very little. Their goal is to buy cheap and flip to a driller to make millions for themselves. Yes, I talked to the guy, he is nice, but I declined in favor of a good contract with someone else. Signing a poor contract is hurting MO.
