We too have been contacted by Gulfland concerning a lease. We are in Johnson county. Trying to gather as much information as possible as am new to all this. My goodness there is a lot learn.

Your right oilgasnovice. There is a lot to get familiar with. The worst thing you can do is sign the first lease that comes along, without doing a little research first.

Received the lease from Gulfland. $200 a acre for a 5 year lease with a 5 year option. Will not be signing this lease after reading and researching more. Will wait for a better bonus amount and much better terms. I feel sorry for those who have signed not knowing what is really going on. I have heard of some folks getting $80 per acre and signing for that. That is like giving the farm away.
