A pipeline question

My daughter lives in Hannibal Ohio, she just called and told me she was contacted by someone from Statoil today wanting to put a pipeline under her home. Does anyone out there know what this is about? What pipeline, for who, etc. etc. Thank You...

Under her home?  They do not put gas lines under homes.  Something does not sound right.

        Contact Greg Brunton in Columbus OH to look at the Right Of Way Contract before it is signed. He'll tell you why you need a different contract. Find him on the Web for his email address. He has answered my questions by email in the past.

Before I make any pipeline ROW decisions, I'll consult with Greg first.

ROW agreements are permanent and your daughter could lose her Right Of Way rights if she signs one of the bad agreements that have gone through my neighborhood.

Rumor has been that Statoil was going to develop their own pipeline for their use;   in the Hannibal/Ohio Township area Statoil has several wells and are preparing to drill several more.
