Acreage in South Park township, Allegheny County

Hello all,

Really enjoy the website and the informative discussions on this site.

I was recently informed that I had inherited just over an acre of mineral rights in Allegheny County.  I've had an offer to lease or sell these mineral rights for well to begin drilling operations in 2025.  

Is there a website or state resource where I can find some price comparables in this area of Marcellus Shale? Just not really sure what number to go back at them with on the deal points.

Anyone out there in western PA who can offer some help to Mr. Wilson?  This blog site membership always advises seeking out the advise from a local gas attorney for new gas leases.  Be careful not to sign any agreements without professional assistance.  Check out the Allegheny County group in this blog site, too.  That would be a good start for you.  Good luck
