Just was curious to hear of any activity going on in Venango county.  Anything from talks of leasing, to actually signing on the line of a lease.

What have the offers been for potential leases?  Any good addendums you were able to negotiate?

Has anyone heard how the completion went for the Seneca Resources well?

Hopefully 2012 will hold a lot more activity for this industry founding area.

Last year they marked out where the pipeline ROW was to be, but there has not been any action further than that.

The rig you are talking about is for EdgeMarc

Nice pic, thanks.  Is this a vertical well or a horizontal? How many are permitted?

What is the name of the pipeline company and/or the name of the pipeline? Laurel Mountain comes to mind but not sure.

One of the biggest hurdles that Venango/Clarion has is the lack of pipelines.  Look at how Halcon has stopped work. Knowing what is going in would be very helpful.

Currently drilling out the bridge plugs on the Chevron Brosius well near Nickleville with coil tubing. Started thurs or Friday. Hope to see a flame from flow back once they are done.

Chevron Brosius Well flaring

Like a candle on the cake, how beautiful is that?

Is that two flares at once? If so, one looks much smaller than the other, is that just a result of night-time photography or is one that much smaller?

Two flares. One I believe off the high stage separator and one off the low stage separator. I believe a wet gas well.

Does anyone know any specifics about the well, what was the targeted formation, lenght of laterals, depth, etc...

Thanks

Thanks Brian!

Thanks for all of your information Brain, I see that this is the 2H well from your previous posts and that it is a Marcellus well.  I am surprised to see that the proposed 1h well goes to the Trenton, more possibilites for Venango.  The plats show the lateral going directly up to the end of the unit, no boundaries at the end.  I thought they couldn't do that because the fracing may be extending into unleased property?

Anyone know if Chevron is drilling their two new permits on the Brosius Pad (3H & 6H). Permitted in March 2014. That must be a good sign that they want to drill more wells on this pad. I believe these are Marcellus wells, correct?
