American Shale Development, Inc.

I have received 3 letters from American Shale; the last one dated June 4, 2014.  They want to purchase my oil and gas interest in three parcels of land on Dents Run, Mannington District.  I own 3.3% of 224.66 acres.  I haven't done anything as of this date and my son says not to sell.  I am not sure what to do.  Any advice would be appreciated.

I agree with your son. If they want it you know it is more valuable than their offer.

Agreed.  

The only way I'd sell would be if I didn't have any family members I wanted to leave it to.... and was older and could use the money now.

It is starting to look good in these areas. I have property in wetzel so we are close. Marcellus is good. Devonian is probably good. The big question for you is the Utica. If those numbers are good which looks like it will be then no way I would sell unless the money is ridiculous. This might provide for your family for years. Possible game changer
