Ankney farm near Superior

What's happening now at the Ankney farm near Superior in Derry Twp? It was all cleaned up late last spring with some wells on the property. Now there's a "City"  set up again.....tanker trucks, floodlights, cranes, trailers and lots of noise all night.

After they finish fracking those wells, they are scheduled to move to Marco's to frack. Williams said Marco's is on schedule for November 7th so they should be finished at Ankney's this week.  Hope all of our wells are good ones!

Where is Marco's? Does anyone know when they will begin on the Hartshorn property near New Derry?

Marco's is close to Hartshorn's - Marco's is adjacent to Androstric and Baum Road. If you go down Panizzi road toward superior, the Marco wells are in the field directly ahead at the intersection of Baum, Androstic, and Panizzi roads.

Are they supposed to be drilling on Hartshorn's property?  I thought Hartshorn's were just included in one of the other units - maybe National Metals?

Debbie - if you are talking about the Hartshorn property of Keith, Kathy, Eugene, and Jennifer, that property is included in the National Metals South unit and that well is being fracked right now. If it's another Hartshorn property, I can't find it included in any units yet.

Thanks, Carol. Yes, the Hartshorn property is the one you mentioned. I believe we are included in that unit along with Decario's and Seilhamer. I know that someone was here last spring to verify some info but we have not had any more contact with drilling folks. Where is the drilling equipment for that unit. I thought there would be stuff up on Jennifer's property area.

Hartshorn's are in the unit that is being fracked right now behind Ankney's on Bialas's (National Metals) property. It's the drilling equipment you were asking about in this discussion.

Debbie - is Mewherter your last name? I can't find that name in any of the recorded units. Did you sign a lease and own the mineral rights? I searched on National Metals South, North, and Marco-Androstic units to find your name but didn't find it.  DeCario's are in the NM South Unit.

Yes, we signed a lease in Feb'10. As far as I know we own the mineral rights. A fellow came by last spring to verify the names on the deed and also some other info. My husband's family owned this property since 1942 and we sold off some of it to Seilhamer.  How do you find the information about the units?
