Antero Resources Makes Major Natural Gas Announcement

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – West Virginia natural gas will be used at the proposed cracker plant in Wood County. Antero Resources made the announcement Wednesday.

The company has signed an agreement to become an ethane supplier for the Ascent petrochemical complex in Washington, West Virginia. Antero intends to provide 30,000 barrels of ethane per day to the project headed up by Odebrecht and Braskem

Means more jobs

 

Means they belive there is enough Ethane  to support the plant.

My thoughts as well Paul. Good news for folks in West VIrginia if and when they decide to break ground for this plant.

With Antero providing 30,000 barrels per day or 40% appears this cracker would process 75,000 barrels per day.  Good to hear construction could start first of 2015.
