Just a friendly heads up to people lawyer shopping to negotiate their leases. I’ve noticed a huge price fluctuation in what lawyers will try and charge to negotiate a contract. The best advice I have is to pay a lawyer by the hour to negotiate a lease. Pay no more that $200-250 per hour and a maximum of ten hours. Any lawyer taking longer than that is milking a relatively simple job. Don’t let them work for a percentage of a bonus or royalties. Buyer beware because there are some shady guys out there looking to take advantage of us. Thanks
