After receiving several 5-6 page lease proposals from a few smaller companies a couple years ago, one has to wonder what a 27 pager entails?!?!  Talk about needing a good attorney.

Yes, jb you are right. i have a lease with chk and its 16 pages, hard to emagen what is in a 27 pager. I was in the coal business at one time and done some leasing, we used to joak about haveing the land owner sign a 4 page lease. at that time most coal leases were 2 pages. today when you sign a lease with a c/o co. its for generations.
