can Mark West take property via eminent domain in PA?

Just wondering if they can take property in PA for gas pipeline? Just trying to determine if we have any ability to negotiate...Thanks!

NO! Eminent domain can only be used after a failure of fair market value for the property in question offer has failed. One can not just take someone else's property without due process. NOTE however there are cases where the Government has overstepped their bounds by seizing banking accounts and property under the simple pretext of suspicion without due process!
