Chesapeake comes through as promised

Well it happened,about two months ago I asked Chesapeake to surrender two of my expired leases in Bradford county. They replied they would and the did. Two days ago they filed in the court house a release for one of them.Under new management? Give them credit.

Well, it's possible the new PA law requiring them to surrender within 30 days of receiving notice might have influenced their performance.  Just sayin'.

It's good you received your release somewhat timely.  Too early though, IMHO, to declare Chesapeake has turned the leaf.

Yes I agree, it's takes a lot of pressure to influence these opportunists. Now if we can do the same for the current Obama administration we may just have a gas/oil future to look forward to.

Probably more practical to work on that with the next administration.
