Cranberry Township is a joke! They banned drilling. Yes they banned drilling. Here is a township that clearly voted for John McCain and Sara Palin by a huge majority and they banned drilling. I'll refresh your memory. "Drill baby drill" were the famous words spoken by Palin at every rally across this country and Cranberry twp overwhelmingly supported her and John but low and behold the old "not in my back yard" crap came out of the rightwing stronghold known as Cranberry Twp. What a bunch of hippocrytes. They should be ashamed of themselves. They make me want to puke. On the other hand they accepted money from the state from the wellhead tax because there was drilling nearby. Go figure!

They in fact received $75,405.53. What a joke! I guess the joke is on the landowners who will miss the chance to make money from their gas.
