Interesting part in the CHK discussion... "CHK expects to be finished leasing acreage for the most part by the end of this year."  If this is in fact the case, then I would think that this may hurt anyone who has been "holding out" for the higher dollar amounts on leasing.  CHK is obviously one of the bigger hitters & if they are planning to drop out of the ballgame by year end, then it would make sense to me that the prices would (or should) start to drop at that point because it will not be quite as competitive...  I could be wrong though, but just my opinion.

Nelson, 

I see your angle, but I believe in real estate it will be the other way around.  The last remaining parcels in the sweet spot will command the most amount of money.  I know only RE so I maybe wrong when it comes to the energy business.

Hmmm that does look like a good possibility.  Since they are already involved in a JV with CHK in the Barnett, then they would be familiar with dealing with each other...
