I don't know what is right or wrong in Dimock. I see the statements by both sides and then I see the brown water and all I know is that I wouldn't want my family, especially my kids drinking that. I prefer to wait til the end and let the courts decide, rather than saying bad things.

Ah a person with a brain ,thank God. The people in Dimock that have bad water are real .The gas co's and their puppets have tried to paint another picture .I challenge anyone who doubts the water being bad to come drink some of the stuff from the wells that have the problems.None of those that have said the water is fine have drank the water from the wells in question !Until then they should stay out of it...!

RE: "The people in Dimock that have bad water are real."

You must be new to the Dimock area, otherwise you would know that localized water issues long predate horizontal drilling in the Marcellus and hydraulic fracing.

More than 200 years ago the Seneca Chief Cornplanter complained that the water in the area around what is now Dimock gave him "the runs".

When you drill water wells into the shallow coal measures, you risk having methane and minerals in the water. This has nothing to do with NG drilling.

You really must be someone who recently moved into the area, otherwise you would know what the longtime locals know - some water wells in the Dimock area historically have harmless (but unpleasant)  water issues.

All IMHO,

I have lived in NEPA since 1974 ,I know there can be odor and minerals in water ,but i still woldn't drink the water from the bad wells in Dimock.

William,
Please connect the dots for the ignorant, pro- drillers here. How will you reveal to us that Cabot caused these problems. I request details, not your or anyone else's opinion. Give me what you have to prove your claim. Frankly I am tired of your hot air..

ah, the liberal legal stance, 'it's not the nature of the evidence, it's the seriousness of the charge'.

Come on, Bill!  Give us the facts not these bromides of yours.

I'll let all you Gas lovers here pat each other on the backs .There are plenty of people other then Dimock that have problem water.Keep cheering yourselves on eventually more and more evidence will be made public !Then who will you cheer for .I personally know people who had fine water until the drilling started.Don't forget to count all the money you think you'll make from the Nat gas drilling when it starts near you,OK.....and David P you don't request nothing from me you all ready have all the answers you want to hear !and I'm tired of ass holes like you too !

Love you too.

David,

I think this quote from Winston Churchill is most appropriate to William and his friends: "Whenever someone trips over a fact that interferes with their beliefs, they usually just pick themselves up and continue on their way."
