Drilling Using NO WATER !!!

Why are we fighting the wrong battle? Instead of Fighting to Allow Hydrofracing using WATER, we could be pooling our resources to REQUIRE Hydrofracing to USE "Liquified Petroleum" ..

http://ww.gasfrac.com, a Toronto based firm, developed a technology 4 years ago to use essentially "Propane"  as the FRACING fluid..

1. NO Water exposure

2. NO Pollution

3. doubles production on all wells

4. NO cleanup after

5. Half the ware and tear on the roads

6. over 300 Wells currently in production out in the midwest

7. you undercut any arguement from environmental groups

 

Sadly, almost no one is talking about this

Hi Gail-I understand you have the following questions and I’ve provided answers to the best of my knowledge.

Have you heard anything about "Petro-fracking". Is it a reality?  How does it actually compare with the "hydro-fracking" currently in use? Any info would be appreciated.
 
Yes it is a reality, it is also often called propane fracing and is 90% propane along with a few other gases and additives. This technology has been used a few times in the Marcellus shale but I’m not aware of how successful it was.  I have heard some experts say that you cannot build up the pressure in the well to sufficiently fracture the shale, thefore the gas well production is lower. The advantage is that little or no water is necessary and the well “cleans up” faster without having any of the wastewater to haul and treat.  In essence the propane ultimately mixes with the methane and can be removed at a refinery and sold.  A Canadian company pioneered the technology and a writeup can be found here for more of a detailed description:  http://gasfrac.com/fracforward.pdf

 I own the Drill'N Man Mag.  I've been talking about waterless frac for months.  
I know the teams working on it and many details. I'm 100% loyal to my contacts and in the intrest of keeping them working I will never rat or leak.  However you are right.  Their are many companies looking at this and have been for a long time.  the thing is that as long as ppl keep chase'n after those other subjects, the longer the industry will have to beef up the action, get the paper work done and put into place.  But in the mean time the anti's are chase'n smoke and when waterless frac is in place, the Josh Fox wannabe's will be left with nothing to say.
