Hello, this post is to invite all Elk County Landowner's to join our new group...The Elk County Keystoner's Group. The purpose of the group is to join forces and strengthen our negotiating power with the O&G companies that want to lease our land. The Elk County area is just now being explored and developed and we would like to be a good position when the O&G's prove this area to be viable for wide scale development. There is no cost to join this group...just a desire to obtain fair compensation for the valuable commodity that lies under our land. The well in Caledonia is being drilled as we speak...the GOOD LORD willing, it will be productive thus creating greater interest in our neck of the woods. Remember, we lie in the fairway of the triple play[ Upper Devonian, Marcellus, and Utica Shale], and Infrastructure is under construction as we speak. I'am starting this group because like many of you, I'am frustrated with the the lack of progress in Elk County. Patience...good things come to those who wait. We need to be organized when they start knocking on our doors and calling us on the phone. Should you not want to be in our group...fine, do not respond, as we are not looking to debate the benefit of strength in numbers. I know this business principle exists in business and the O&G business is no different.
