- JK, we have 174 acres in Benezette Twp. and are well aware of the monopoly games being played in this industry...also, we are trying to secure a direct deal with EQT, but believe they may be acting as a wholesaler with us only to make more money with an O&G company at a later date.Howard drilling is shopping their 127,000 acres and should have the deal done by 9/14/10. We have a conference call with EQT on 9/22/10 to hear their offer...they have all the parcels around us under lease.

- Daniel - Where is your acreage? Also, please make sure your lease from Snyder does not involve a long wait before they're obligated to pay your lease bonus. It is thought that they may be speculating on acreage... that is, they may be signing up landowners for little or no up-front money in the hope that they can turn a large block to an area operator.
