Laurel Mountain Energy has permits to drill horizontal wells off of Lime Plant Rd across river from Parker. Have they started work on pad yet?
They ran a new pipeline from Butler County to handle the gas.
According to an O&G lawyer that I spoke with a little while back, not much happening in Clarion due mostly to lack of infrastructure. And now, with a Dem governor and a low NG price, it could be a while until things pick up again.
Seems that Clarion County is rather slow lately. Has anyone heard of anything new lately?
Anyone know who is leasing in the area right now?
Does any one know of any new pipelines or ROWs being worked on? Location, size, direction? Owner/company? Thanks for any info you wish to share.
There is no lease yet. Early in the game. Several companies are looking at the data.
Personally, I think they will all wait to see if Shell commits on the cracker plant as the plant would make a huge market for any ethane recovered. Plus, if Shell commits then a lot more pipelines will be built to move gas to market.
