Geokinetics seismic testing in Forward Township, Allegheny County for EQT Production.

I, along with several neighbors, have been approached about permitting seismic testing on our land. Anyone have any thoughts on permitting this without an existing lease? I'm of the thought that EQT should at least approach me on leasing it before I allow seismic testing. However, they just started drilling in the township really close by and I don't want to miss out on a good offer if they find positive seismic results but how do I know if their results are good or bad? Sorry but I don't trust them to be transparent on what they find. I would suppose that if they are commissioning seismic testing they must surely plan to drill the area. EQT has approached me on the small plot my house sits in but not the larger acreage that is attached to it. They did also contact us on unitizing adjoining acreage that is held by a storage clause that my family no longer owns the surface of. Just seeing if anyone knows more than me about their plans for the area or has any thoughts on allowing the testing. And yes, I know I should contact an oil and gas attorney.
