Does your group include landowners with existing wells
Yes.
I talked with Caffey and they said they were not interested in any existing leases that had wording such as all sub surface strata. Also said they were aquiring land for "Halcon"
did a search for Halcon oil and got a company near London England!
An existing lease with that wording would hold everything and would be "off-the-market" unless they could negotiate a deal with the leaseholder/lessee. The landowner/lessor wouldn't be a part of that equation.
I would stay clear of Caffey Group! They just flip land. Shell will be back by spring with Chevron not far behind. This whole process is going to take time. (3to5yr) Dont get in a hurry!!!
totally agree
Other players are moving in soon so be patient.
