The well pad is staked out about a mile west of Antrim, off Rt.22. This well will tell the story here in Guernsey county, ohio. I've been told that the utica shale holds lots of oil here. As far as the utica goes,we are sitting on the best of the best. The Rt. 22 corridor from cambridge to londonderry is supposed to be the hot spot. We will see, soon. May take a year for the well production report, and we dont have the pipelines to get it out of here yet,so they may not want to frac it yet. Need the cracker plants built,& the pipelines laid. Look out guernsey co; it's starting!

Hope so I have land leased to Gulfport in Londerry.

I've been told that carroll co. is being drilled so much  because CHP. bought those old leases really cheap & cause they can truck that product a short distance to a refrinery in Canton. The spencer wells are located really close to the large tennesee pipeline, location of infrastructure, not the quantity of O&G in the shale. Also ,the spencer wells are on the limestone quarry property, where most of the limestone is coming from for all the pads going in.I thought that was smart to generate all that $$$ for the stone producer, otherwise they may not of had the bucks to expand to keep up with demand.  The geogolists & the O&G companies Know where the best wells will be,and right now,you cant assume that they drilling the 1st wells  where they thought the best is. The carroll co. wells look to be "one leggers" to hold the leased area by production, since they bought cheap!   This may hold true for most wells rigth now in all of eastern ohio until the pipelines & processing plants are built. They dont want to drill-em & cap em. Cost too much!
