Thanks for the link...indeed, Halcon's perception of the various fairways comport fairly nicely with what various operators were looking for. For example, Carrizo, who only wants to look for oil, was interested in acreage further east in Guernsey (and Noble) early on, but shifted further west to where they are drilling now, falling nicely within Halcon's projected oil fairway.

Great update! Clearly shows this energy boom is just in the beginning and the Bloomberg article is the left's bent.
Please, Ron, let's keep politics out of this. There's nothing left or right bent about the Bloomberg article other than the continued counterproductive short-run thinking of Wall Street analysts whose kindergartner like mentality--like some here--won't allow them to wait for the industry to develop properly before starting to complain about not getting their goodies. Greed is not limited to one side of the equation, but for sure most Wall Streeters I know (and I've known a LOT) are almost pathologically inclined to hate any kind of hand in their large pockets, making them the most virulently right wing cadre I've ever met. And they never produced a darn thing besides pushing paper back and forth and taking their cut.
