Hello, all! I'm in an Antero unit that went to sales on July 21. According to my contract, I'm supposed to begin getting royalties six months from the first day of the month after that, which would be February 1, 2015. I have heard that they are consistently late in paying royalties, and that they're behind on issuing division orders. Has anyone out there received a royalty (NOT signing bonus) payment from Antero? Anyone received a Division Order yet? Just curious if this is a good company to be dealing with. They seem to be a great producer. Thanks for anything anyone is willing to share. By the way, I'm in the Vorhies unit. The initial production numbers are up on their company presentation and they look pretty good!

That's good to hear, Ruth. I have heard from them with a request to verity my address. That was about two weeks ago. I'm guessing the division order will show up soon. Are you pleased with your checks? I only have five acres, but there are three wells in my frack plot and according to Antero, they're each averaging about 12 million cubic feet per day, with 46 percent liquids, and the slide in the antero presentation noted that the well was operating under a choke - I presume that means they haven't yet fully opened it up, probably waiting on more processing capacity. If there is a total production of 36 million cubic feet a day, that sounds pretty good. I think that would provide me about $75 grand a year at current wellhead prices. I could definitely live with that : - ) The Antero land man, many moons ago when he was wooing us, told us I might get 300 grand in the first year. That's obviously a pipe dream.
Received my first royalty check yesterday, right on time. Nice!!!!!!!
I got my first check recently too. Does anyone know if Antero has a web page that explains in detail the statement?
Carl
I do not know, Carl. I think you'd have to call them or email the payment guy.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
