I was told today that Millers Supply has purchased the ground across the road from them on route 7 north to expand their lot.

Should be a good sign for all of us in Washington and surrounding conties.

They are doing a lot of work on that lot, I drive by it every day.  They have the pipes there and now they have little stick markers all over the lot, so I don't know what that means.  I wonder if they are going to lay the pipeline down there?

My dad's business is on Rte 7 close to where the location of where all the pipes are and he received a mailing the other day about pipeline safety, how to recognize a leak, etc.  It was from a company in Texas, and pertained to wet and natural gas and transporting it from wells.  It came with a survey.  He received it before the pipeline caught fire in Sissonville.

I heard today Miller Supply sold it to someone in the shale drilling business

There is a drilling rig on the Greenwood Farm in Newport.  Anyone know the details?  I first saw it on Thursday Dec 13, but I don't drive by there everyday.

Sounds like the same mailing I received from Crosstex out of Texas. My understanding is they are the company that bought out Ohio Oil Gathering. Things are going to get very interesting around here in the next couple years.

Cobra sent out a letter several months ago offering to buy another ROW or add to their existing one at $7.50 a foot. Didn't fiy with anyone in the area, so I'm told. Including me.

When they don't want to take care of existing issues on their ROW, why would anyone give them another one.

IMHO......
