I am not HBP and the lease i signed does not say my rights can be sold or transfered to a new owner or other company.

they are not selling. they are assigning. I'm assuming they are assigning your lease to whomever..

Yes, there should be an assignability clause in your lease..
look at the middle part of your lease.. say paragraph 12-16.. most leases are 14 or 15..

It's not necessarily a bad thing..
you should also check within that clause if the company has an obligation to provide you with the information to whom they assigned your lease..
The producer that will be receiving these leases may provide you a better opportunity to be included in a unit.
