How long to get a permit?

If this question has been asked before, i apologize. I am wondering what is the average time it takes from the initial application to the DEP (in PA) to getting the permit. Any ideas? Thanks,

My understanding is that the DEP allot 45 days for approval.

If you go to the following site:

http://www.ahs2.dep.state.pa.us/eNoticeWeb/

you can suscribe to receive e-mail notifications for permits applied for in the PA county (or counties) that you are interested in.

You will have to do a little searching to set it up, it is not an especially user friendly process.
