I am seeing signs in western Washington county Ohio that say "no well traffic past this point". The name is Vantage energy. Does anyone know anything about this company?

Permalink Reply by oildude on March 6, 2012 at 9:20am The sign has been taken down but it may have been stolen by one of the locals that are in a landowner's group ( it appears that we have a "range war" starting). However, my neighbor's daughter said that a man from Vantage came to their house yesterday. They wanted to look at his gas well. My neighbor was not there but the guy from vantage is suppose to come back. Any ideas about what may be going on?
They have drilled, completed and are producing 5 wells in the Waynesburg area that i know of for sure.
Oildude, where did you see these signs specifically?

Private equity financed, teh execs are industry vets.
Their chief geologist is female, Andrea something, very sharp.
They missed out gaining a position in the Marcellus, glad to see
them here for the Utica.
I have no acreage tehre but would lease to them in a second and would
encourage neighbors as well. Good scientists which is what wwe all want.
