Recently i was put in a unit for the Mcclain well. My old lease was due to expire sept. 30,  Chesapeake finally got the neighbor to unitize and in one day they added me to the unit but the horizontal runs almost SOUTHWEST to my property for 700 feet then stops.  I figured that was just one of their ways to declare me in a unit to hold my old lease. I just wanted Utica Shale to take a look and give me his opinion. It is in Guernsey county . North ern millwood township

Sounds just like what chesapeake would do. If they can hold you by production, they don't have to pay you any more bonus.

Yea, I know a guy with 200 acres,m/l . who got included in a unit by only 1/2 acre. holds all the rest of his land! No pugh clause?

Yeah back in 2008 i didnt know what a pugh clause was so they have me now . Just never seen a lateral run in that direction and thought maybe it was just a trick.

No
