Which companies might consider buying Infinity Natural Resources for it`s Marcellus/Utica development in Armstrong/Indiana counties?  They seem to be doing well.

Sounds like big news today for INR hiring former CNX & Olympus Energy heavy weight with significant success with both companies.  What`s going on here?   How will this impact INR`s future?

INR has announced they will provide their Q2 report on August 10

The Q2 Report for INR was released yesterday.  The Indiana County Utica well appears to have been spud but isn`t planned for completion in 2026.  What`s up?

Yes, not much from the earnings call other than they did in fact drill both the vertical test well they talked about earlier and a 10k foot lateral.  I believe they intend to complete the well in Q4 or very early Q1 2027 in time for winter pricing.  One of the interesting things is that they were questioned on their well inventory which doesn't come close to comparing to the big guys, like Range and EQT.  They seem happy at this point to not chase inventory, similar to Gulfport.

Good news for the Utica well completion plans.  Any mention how pleased they are with the well?  Not sure how much well inventory can be increased in PA, probably more so in Ohio.  Does well inventory affect investor interest?

they didn't say much other than to say the drilling went as planned (and given the depth, that is good).  As far as acreage, there still seems to be room to grow to the northeast towards the Northeast part of the Marcellus and possibly Utica as was discussed by the Huntley and Huntley CEO.  They may have missed the opportunity to move north in Ohio, but they seem pleased with the acquisition from Antero.  Regarding the inventory question, there is a balance between short term efficiency of use of capitol which seems to be the focus and the need to show that the firm has a longer term future.  Analysts aren't going to come out and talk about things like inventory, but you can infer some things.  Of course, the old Chesapeake is the lesson they've taken to heart.

I suspect the results were as planned (hoped for) otherwise continuing with the lateral and completion might not have been advanced.  INR seems to be active only in a small area in central Indiana County.  I`m not aware of any further connection to the northeast.  The Huntley & Huntley CEO comments are very interesting and could signal more drilling in that area.

One other thing from their Q2 report, the founding CFO moved on to "other opportunities" and they hired two experienced people to replace him.  This may mean that they intend to attempt additional mergers/acquisitions or perhaps buy out the private equity partners that own most of the company (likely a new share offering).  Of course it also might mean they put themselves up for sale, as one of the people worked for Encino.

If sell is the answer, who are the buy candidates?  Could they sell their Ohio assets and PA assets separately?  Are there acquisition opportunities for them to expand their assets either in Ohio or PA?  Buying out the private equity partners sounds like a good move for them, too.

An incident was reported at the Cooper well pad in Indiana County on Monday into Tuesday.  Tanker trucks with water responded to the incident.  Any news what happened?  Was the new Utica well involved in this incident?

No news about this incident yet?  How serious or not was it?
