Injection wells

Can anyone give me an idea on compensation for injection wells, do you get a bonus and then royalties so to speak off the use, any help would be appreciated, thanks

Depending on the leasor, compensation is typically a small monthly lease fee plus a per barrel compensation.  If your land is currently leased be sure the injection wells do not conflict with your lease agreement.

Are you prepared to have protests near the sites ?  The injection wells, especially when waste frac fluids seem to draw out all the protesters, at least the locals.  Injection wells are viewed as the garbage dumps of the drilling industry.  If you have a choice, better look at all options.
