along with the requisite of round trip air fare to and from NYC. Anyone remember those salsa commercials... "this stuff is made in..new york city... NEW YORK CITY?"  haha

So, why don't ppl with gas in their well (water) extract it and make their own Electric?  A resturant owner in the Elmira NY area was drilling a water well in the 70's.  His contractor hit gas. The gas well produced enough to supply the resturant/home until 2007.  Drillers in West Pa have told us that extracting gas is rather simple.  So why not push the idea?

People can do this - but it is unlikely that a small business can support the effort to target the deeper formations - maybe some near surface deposits.
