I just learned that Shell put up for bid 50,000 acres of leased land. Several of us are not in these acres because they canceled our leases. What happens to us and our land.

We were left out and now have land that is in the middle of the the land leased to Shell. We never figured out how they decided which parcels to lease and which ones not to lease. Can the new company drill without leasing all the connecting land. Thanks
