Good Morning,  I have property in Beaver TWP, Noble County and Seneca TWP, Monroe County and have been approached by Blue Racer Midstream for permission to survey for a pipeline, we have granted them the right to survey.  I know what is coming next, they will want to lease the ROW.   Does anyone know what the going price per foot is?  I have heard numbers between $30 to $125 a foot.

What size and how many?  I've been offered $50 for two 12" lines I countered with $62.40 per foot.  From what I've read I should have asked for more.  This is Harrison county, Oh. for Mariner East II.

Don't have that info yet, this is just beginning.  As soon as I have size and quantity I will post it. Thanks for your reply

I've been reading about $2-$3 per inch per foot.  I came up with $62.40 from $2.60 per inch per foot.  He was not really lowball but not all that high.  I don't like to go back and forth with prices.  I set $2.60 and that's it.

Good Luck

Phil, that's interesting, Sunoco offered me just under $10 a foot for the Mariner east line. I know they try to  lowball you plus they are paying by the acre. I took the offer to my attorney, see what happens.  I  am in Jefferson county.

i did it differently i asked and got 1 dollar per foot the right away is wide. 80 foot wide 80 dollars a foot if they want more right away they pay more. And i gave them a time limit to lay all pipes .

Interesting! how much do you think you could have gotten?
I don't have the $62 yet. They're still deliberating. It's hard to say what top dollar is. To me, once a line like that goes through the land is pretty much useless. So.its like selling the land but you will pay taxes on it forever. They can go to the other side of the road and detour me but that would put it in someone else's front yard or they could go eminent domain but that delays a multibillion dollar project. I don't want to squeeze until it hurts but this is a permanent deal. If I (and my ancestors) are going to pay taxes "in perpetuity" it needs to be well compensated. At least as I see it.

I just heard it is going to be two 16 in.. lines, at this point.

I was told two 12" lines. I haven't seen any paperwork so far it was on the phone.

what they told me it would be 2 --- 20 inch line ...been offer $60.00 per foot for both ... don't really think its high enough .... will counter offer again ...in the Wheeling intellinger paper yesteday said once the line is in operation that 345,000 barrels of flow will be going through this line on a daily basic... Now consider this , there is 42 gallons to each barrel and that add up to a lot of money for these companies .

can any else out there give us some figures that they have offer or sign for . ?

My dad is getting $75/ft. for one line and also the same amount for any additional lines. Not sure the size of pipe. Madison twp, guernsey county, Ohio. He was paid for the one ROW and now he is being offered the same amount for a another ROW, two separate ROWs
