- I began my career as a landman back in the 1980's and negotiated 100's of fair leases for landowners and several hundred miles of pipeline right of ways. When OPEC lowered the price per barrel, it forced many others and me to find other employment.
In 2010, I started getting noticed by head hunters and re-entered the oil and gas business in 2011. I worked in Harrison county from 2/2011 to 5/31/2012, helping landowners get fair leases with Kenyon Energy and Continental Land Resources. I got laid off, probably because I added to many addendum's to help landowners protect their land, and financial futures. I have given up on ever being a landman again, to help several friends and fellow Ohioans get fair leases.
I was recruited to help and I am now an adviser for a landowner group, Ohio Shale Services, LLC.
