March 23: Hearing on Bureau Land Management Leasing Process
Wednesday, March 23, 9 am is congressional hearing on the leasing process of the Bureau of Land Management. Head of the BLM, Neil Kornze, is the only person scheduled to appear.
You can listen and view on your computer. BLM does all the leasing of public lands in the United States.

My takeaways on this are:
That the BLM is moving toward conducting online lease sales.
That the Obama administration is using the Antiquities Act on National Monuments to block lease sales in certain states.
And, that $11 million dollars of our tax dollars are being used to fund research on long term contraception for wild horses in Wyoming and Nevada.
