Perhaps without knowing it, many rights holders in these counties had their acreage showcased in Houston last month.  The goal was to focus global companies attention on our Marcelllus-Utica resources, the current and growing infrastructure in our counties, and our welcoming attitude toward exploration and production.  Oil and gas production in Potter and McKean hills and valleys is not new!

More is happening in this area than many are aware of.  Consider this.  If you're about to buy something, and you want to get it on the cheap (a.k.a. "best" price), do you really talk it up?  We know that's not happening for too many, but from a company standpoint that's a logical ploy.
