New fracking techniques using liquid nitrogen or co2 may be the next big step t dramatically increase production. Using this instead of water could open up new areas and also improve production in proven areas. Waterless fracking will not only use less water but the clay in the shale will not expand and choke off the flow of gas and oil. Can't wait to see results.
