my thoughts are that anyone appointed to a cabinet position in this administration will be required to tow the line with regard to the administrations' agenda. that agenda is anti fossil fuel in favor of so called renewables.

I don't think it really mattered who was appointed, the agenda will be the same, subsidize wind and solar, while punishing and stalling all fossil fuel development to the greatest extent possible.

fortunately there are limits on how much this industry can be thwarted.

it'll be at least another 3&1/2 years before any meaningful progress is made at the federal level regarding our energy needs. in the meantime, much money will be wasted and many eagles will die to support a feel good agenda with no positive results for the American economy or people.
