Hello, Everyone ! Glad to know others are open to discussion concerning leasing mineral rights in Tyler County. I own a few acres that date back at least five generations. Triad Hunter seems rather interested, as the pipeline runs right beside my property. Two of their reps drove over four hours to my area in Virginia, even though I told them I would not accept their offer to lease. It will be on my terms (within reason), as my Great Grandparents in-law once received royalty checks on this same property. I'm glad to see Tyler County "on-the-map" with quite possibly a bright future for all. One thing I know for sure...the "first" offer will always be low, so as to play in favor of the Lessee. Never be greedy, but definitely be informed before making a final decision. The Weese-Hunter well is doing quite nicely (Go Roger and Sandy) and therefore, will set the pace for some of the future activity, just don't appear too anxious.
How many "other" wells are now operating in the area ?
Is the Weese-Hunter well the only one ?
Diane
