Ohio Permits 2014 59 Rigs as of 12/13/14

Continuing with the weekly permits I will post them under this discussions as individual replies to make it easy to compare from week to week if one wants to.     Utica Shale come back anytime.  Everyone feel free to comment.

Permits for week ending 7/12/14

Marcellus:  no rigs drilling and no new permit

Utica:  45 rigs drilling  and 13 permits issued;  five companies receiving  permits in six counties.  One permit not in the southern area of the play.

Well permits ending for week ending July 19.

No rigs drilling;   one new permit for CNX in Monroe Co. Switzerland TWP;  they also have two permits for Utica on same pad this week making the Brewster a two formation drilling pad.

Permit activity for week ending July 26, 2014

Marcellus

No permits;   No rigs drilling.

Total permits issued  44;   27 wells drilled   and 11 producing.

Utica

20 permits issued;   49 rigs drilling   Perhaps next week it will be over 50!

permits in 6 counties--Guernsey with 6;   all permits in the southern part of the Ohio Utica area

companies represented:   6   with Gulfport having six permits

No new permits;   no rigs drilling.

Utica

47 rigs drilling;   7 permits issued;    all in Belmont County;   3 to American Energy Utica and 4 to Gulfport.

Marcellus:  no new permits and no rigs drilling

Utica:    45 rigs drilling; 20 new permits in 5 counties for 5 companies.

No new permits, but one rig drilling;   sorry in the combined Marcellus well list it doesn't say which one is being drilled.

Utica

45 rigs drilling; 3 new permits in two counties for two companies.

There are 584 wells producing;  1102 drilled  and   1534 permitted.   These are Utica wells.

It quite obvious that noble monroe and belmont are the hottest areas almost every week. If that hasn't proven the sweet spot in Ohio yet it will never be proven
