I'm also researching what Cobra is paying per linear foot for pipeline right of way.  They offered me $30 per linear foot... broken down into 2 parts.  $12 per linear foot for pipe right of way, and $18 per linear foot for property damages.  This is for 1- 24" pipe.

Per linear foot, how wide?

What activity is allowed once the pipe is buried?

Hi everyone...

there is soooooo much more to the pipeline contract than a per foot cost...pls review what you can here at gomarcellusshale regarding pipeline offers.   Here is a recent discussion also:

http://gomarcellusshale.com/forum/topics/pipelines-which-one-does-t... (and that is linked to another pipeline discussion).   They have about leased up everything across the Marcellus....they NEED these pipelines...this is an area that you must take your time or you will not get your fair share.

There seems to be a lot of online information about agreements for oil and natural gas pipelines, but very little information about water pipelines used in the hydrofracking process. Let's say the oil company wants to install an 8-inch or a 10-inch water pipeline. What is a reasonable payment per foot by the oil company? Will there be a price per linear foot for the water pipeline AND a per linear foot price for property damages?

Thank you in advance for your responses.

...minimal compensation is generally offered due to the fact that the water lines are typically temporary in nature and are laid on the surface of the ground which does not generally necessitate any disruption of the property.

The eureka hunter pipeline is coming from newport/ saint marys in Ohio up to northwest washington county where it will tie into a 3 foot existing pipeline that runs from the northeast U.S down to texas. This MUST be a major pipeline hub. Does anyone have any ideas about what would be a fair price per foot ROW for this pipeline? Also, Should the ROW for well pipelines in the area around this pipeline command a MUCH higher price since everything else will need to tie into the pipe directly adjacent to this big pipeline?  Any thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated.

Belmont county dnr is haning a pipeline Row education session in st.clairsville next. Thursday.740. 6951455 is the contact, 7 to 9 at Belmont college
