Anyone know of East ever agreeing to a Pugh Clause in a lease?  (One that releases any part of the land not included in a drilling unit at lease renewal time?)

I do not know of East agreeing to that in particular but PUGH clauses are hard to get. I would take less bonus money to get a PUGH clause especially if you have large tract of land. I know of many instances where the gas companies have put minimal amounts of acreage in a production unit to just lock in parcels. Someone I know has over 100 acres, the well pad on their property and only has 8 acres in the production unit. How fair is that? It seems to be happening more and more just go to the courthouse and look at the production untis that are recorded, they are not square at all.

I just logged in and checked and it says no messages.
I can't quite figure out what I might be doing wrong. See if you can send me a message.
I edited my above message to say I then found the message in the Friend box (rather than the Inbox). Must be I ran over the 15 minutes. Anyway, thank you for the information.
