- In June after negotiations had come to a standstill East tried to force me into the Kennedy Well Production Unit. Up until that time they had not declared the unit. They then declared it. My attorney told East to take us out and they did. However when they re-recorded the Unit declaration they left in the land where my mineral right is located (they did not change the map, only took our names off the map). Here is why it is complicated. I own a 1/3 undivided interest in 157 acres. My old Phillips lease expired on Aug 9th. One cousin owns a 1/3 undivided interest and his old Phillips lease expires on Sept 5th. The third cousin leased his 1/3 undivided interest to East last march.
My cousin and I are (2/3 interest) have been working together.
This week East came back to us and are going to make and offer (1500/15%) next week.
I want to send you the production unit map so you can see where we are located in the production unit. It will also show you where Lynn is located outside of the production unit. (I will show you)
Then please tell me what you think about our situation and what you might do if you were us. (I will not hold you to it, ha ha ha ha)
After you tell me your thoughts, I will tell you my fears.
