can any one tell me why the royalty checks have dropped to almost half the original amoun? thanks cjs

I'd like to add that the infrastructure (read pipelines) may only be able to handle a certain percentage of what can be produced be any given well. In this way the royalty check may be affected as well.
connie, is your well a vertical or horizontal? you guys that know, does one drop of faster than the other?
Just look at the NYMEX price of natural gas.
Warm winter, bad economy, shuttered businesses and homes, plus a glut of natural gas from marcellus drilling = low natural gas prices.
Too much product, too little demand.
