What county and state is this in ?
Great news! I'm in S.W. Lawrence County,PA. Just a hoot and a holler from Columbiana County. Things seem to be going "well" in our area too. Markwest is out & about lining up pipeline R.O.W. to connect Vanport (Shell Cracker Plant) to Butler. Don't know any details except they want completion by the end of 2013. I have a feeling that in the next year or two things are really going to accelerate.
You will see this pipeline, which is a 36" line, connect in Vanport to another pipeline headed towards Texas. When the Shell Cracker plant comes online (say 2015) the gas co's will have a local customer that won't have to pay for much transport cost on their feedstock.
Curious if this "separation plant" is going to be connected to South West PA.?
We are about 1 mile South of S.R. 172 in Hanover township, the pipeline is going to run through our backyard, Chesapeake SR rep that was here said it was running from State Route 172 in Hanover township to Elkton. Other than that, this leg I am sure of! I can't beleive for a 66+ Million dollar project they didnt announce or atleast have a mention of it starting!!! They need to get the pipeline in for wells to be able to PRODUCE!!! FUN FUN (-:

But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
